Based in Sydney, Australia Horns Plus Big Band creates the infectious energy and distinctive feel unique to big-band jazz. Our dynamic line up includes five trumpets, four trombones, five saxes, full rhythm section and female vocalist and we can provide smaller ensembles on request. With this classic big band line-up we showcase all styles of jazz, from big band swing through to contemporary big-band tunes, R&B, Motown and jazz-rock arrangements. And of course, our repertoire can be tailored to the occasion.
Horns Plus is available for weekend and evening engagements. We take bookings for all occasions and have performed at multiple private and corporate functions, charity fundraisers, general admission gigs and the Manly Jazz Festival every year since 2004.
